Who Are We?

Welcome to Toko Convenience! We’re a family-run Indonesian grocery in Strathcona, and we’re so glad you found us.

Toko started with a simple problem. We couldn’t find the Indonesian products we love here in Vancouver. The snacks, spices and pantry staples we grew up with were either hard to track down or nowhere to be found. So we decided to open our own shop and bring them here ourselves.

Now we bring products straight from Indonesia: snacks, cooking ingredients, spice packs and more. You’ll find familiar favourites like Indomie, along with harder-to-find treats you might not have seen since your last trip home (or ever!).

Our goal is to make Indonesian food a little less mysterious and a lot more accessible, with great value for our community. Whoever you are, there’s something here for you:

Missing home? We import authentic goods directly from Indonesia, so you can find the brands and flavours you grew up with.
